Regular Maintenance

• Dusting the Velvet: Use a sticky lint roller or a piece of masking tape to gently lift dust and pet hair from the velvet surfaces.

• Fringe Care: To keep the fringes looking sharp, use a hairdryer on a "Cool" and high-speed setting to blow away trapped dust. If the fringes become tangled, you can gently "comb" them with your fingers.

• Internal Lining: The gold matt PVC interior can be wiped with a dry, soft microfiber cloth to maintain its metallic luster and reflective quality.

Spot Cleaning

• Handle with Care: Always handle the pendant by its internal metal frame (the gimbal) to avoid leaving finger oils or indentations on the velvet.

• Stain Removal: If a spill occurs, blot (do not rub!) immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn spots, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth with a drop of mild, pH-neutral detergent suds. Never submerge the shade in water.

Safety & Longevity

• Bulb Type: Use LED bulbs only (Recommended: 400–1200 lumens, Warm White). LEDs run cool, protecting the PVC lining and preventing the velvet from becoming brittle over time.

• Sunlight: Avoid hanging the pendant in direct, harsh sunlight to prevent the vibrant rayon dyes (especially the yellow and greens) from fading.
